When we take a look at the motorcycle market this days we have a plenty of choice, and for all ages, and for all budget, but if we analyses the market, one segment is apart the low budget segment, it’s where we find the hottest offers, it’s where the newbie rider make their first purchase, it’s where the retired rider want to rejoin the elite, and for that we have a plenty of motorcycle from 125cc until 800cc, but if you want to have something special like a scrambler or a café racer it will be very difficult to find it at this segment, don’t worry though Oberdan Bezzi got what you want: a Yamaha MT125 café racer.
Dual sport motorcycle, or sport touring moto of those days offers a really convenient package, you can ride it on the road, you can travel with it a eat some miles easily with comfort, and you can load and carry your stuff thanks to the panniers, but you can also take it on the trail and enjoy it like a dirt bike with moderation of course, one of the pioneer of this segment is Yamaha, and they have one of the best dual sport in activity the iconic Super Tenere 1200, but as always some rider want to have an endure bike rather than a touring bike, so they can do more off road with it with less effort because the big downside of the modern dual sport or sport touring bike is weight.
The solution to this problem is resolved by the Italian designer Oberdan Bezzi, he had an alternative to the big Super Tenere: YAMAHA MT-09 DIRTIEST SON "Baja", it’s as the names says a Yamaha MT 09 prepared to go through “Baja”, but a lot of rider won’t make the to “Baja”, and this bike is looking for production, it will be the ultimate dual spot machine? Why not if you have the skill to manage the almost 125hp of the 3 cylinder, rather than that it will give the thrill that you are looking for, but there is something we don’t like about this concept: the exhaust pipe! It follow the Mv Agusta aesthetic code, can do better Oberdan.
When we saw the render of the Kawasaki ZX10R Scrambler, we understudied that the Scrambler trend is getting contagious, and Holographic Hammer is affected by this sort of virus.
we are in the core of summer and we have a really hot month, and it will be really nice to ride a motorcycle in the mountain, not in the city because you’ll burn yourself, and what a better motorcycle than a dual sport in the twisty mountain road, but in those last few months there is another cool alternative: Scrambler! It light, simple, have both road/off-road capability, easy to ride, and on top of that they have a really gorgeous style, we have a nice Scrambler from Portugal, exactly from Dream wheels from Porto.
The latest version of the Yamaha Yzf-R1 has set a new benchmark in the superbike category, and if you want to break cover in the superbike segment, you have the hard job to beat it, but in other hand, some designer want to throw-out all those fairing and let you see what’s behind the Japanese SBK fairing, AD Koncept the French builder or the motorcycle concept company, want to add a big naked bike to the Yamaha line-up, they have a plenty of cool concept, but we thing this Yamaha R1 Street has something to do with madness.
