We continue our 2016 intermot of cologne, Germany coverage (from the desk of course), let’s take a look at the Aprilia Booth.
So let’s start with you young riders, Aprilia has released to new 125cc models: the TUONO 125 AND THE REVAMPED RS 125, and the result is pretty amazing (aesthetically of course), because these two bike match perfectly the look of their big brother the Tuono 1100 and the RSV4.
The new TUONO 125 is equipped with a 125 cc single-cylinder, 4-Stroke, 4-Valve electronic injection engine with liquid cooling, nothing to special, the frame is made from aluminum, moving on to the RS 125 which is a small sports bike, this small sports bike from NOALE share the same look of his big and wicked big brother the RSV4RF, but in term of performance and materials it’s another story, the new APRILIA RS 125 is equipped with a single cylinder 125 cc 4-Stroke, liquid cooled engine with electronic fuel injection coupled to an aluminum frame.
But the main APRILIA SHOW was around the 2017 RSV4RF and the 2017 TUONO 1100 FACTORY, and of course the main goal of APRILIA is to be EURO 4 compliant, job done with these two model, both the 2017 RSV4RF and TUONO 1100 FACTORY are now EURO 4 compliant, and they received new exhaust and new electronic package( new APRC).
However the 2017 APRILIA RSV4RF received new brake system and the output power remain the same: 201hp despite the EURO 4 regulation.
The 2017 APRILIA TUONO 1100 FACTORY also keep the same output power as the outgoing model, which mean 175hp despite the EURO4 regulation.
That’s it for now, there is a lot of new bikes to talk about them, but I’m a one man show, and I’m injured so please forgive me if I don’t cover all the 2016 Intermot news.
